Dr. Efe is super professional and personable. He listens to everything I say carefully and is extremely detailed to make sure everything I need is taken care of and my questions are always answered. Going to his clinic is very convenient and friendly. I would highly recommend him!

We (my wife and I, both in the 70s) enrolled into Dr Efe's program mainly because, as Visitors, we could not buy Medical Insurance apart from Visitor's Insurance (which insures very little). We have been on the program for a year now and are VERY HAPPY to be part of it. Not only has Dr Efe turned out to be an extremely caring and skilled doctor, he has also helped alleviate long standing chronic issues. We also appreciate the reasonable cost of his services as also the completely transparent pricing of medicines and lab tests. We would strongly recommend BDPC.

I can't recommend this clinic enough! Dr. Efe is truly one of the best doctors I've ever had. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes all the time you need to talk about what is going on with you and your goals moving forward. I'm currently seeing him for the weight loss program and I have for the first time in my life actually seen real progress working with him. The clinic itself is very clean and calm and it's never busy or overpacked with patients waiting, in fact I've never waited more than five minutes to get back into a room. Definitely worth the monthly fee for what all I get with it. Direct contact with the doctor 24/7 , in-clinic prescription pickups, and reduced costs of medication and lab work, truly great. If you are looking for a doctor who will work closely with you and care about your needs/goals, I recommend no one else but Dr. Efe!

We are very grateful to have found Birmingham Direct Primary Care! Paired with a health share, this is the perfect alternative to traditional health insurance for us. Dr. Efe has been incredibly thorough, careful, personable, and thoughtful in his treatment of my husband, my daughter, and myself. We highly recommend his practice and are continually grateful for the quality of care that he provides.

My experiences over the last few years with Dr. Efe have been amazing. This is a person who became a doctor for all the right reasons. I am always treated with the utmost respect and compassion whenever I visit his practice. He takes his time and really listens to you. I would strongly recommend his practice. They make you feel like a person who matters and not just another number.

Dr. Efe is one of the kindest, most patient, and thorough doctors I’ve ever met. We are beyond happy with the level of care he provides our family and his attentiveness to our needs. I particularly love that my teenage son who felt he’d grown out of visits to the pediatrician (who was a wonderful doctor too) feels so comfortable at BDPC. I was skeptical about the idea of concierge medicine, but now, even with good medical insurance, I feel that the investment in our family’s health is worth every penny and more. I am grateful for his practice and wish every person could have access to this level of care.

Dr. Efe is absolutely amazing person and has made each visit feel very personal and comfortable for me. He checks in with you and how every past issue you’ve had is doing and is very on top of the prescriptions he provides making sure that you’re never out. I’d recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Efe is a great physician with a lovely facility that is bright, warm, and inviting. He is so patient with me and offers so much knowledge. His availability and attention to detail make me feel safe in his practice. Birmingham Direct Primary Care is a must have for people who want individualized care and don’t want to feel rushed.

Having been treated by Dr. Efe for some time, I am amazed at the difference in my health that he has made. I find that the office is clean, well-lit, COVID safe and appointments staggered to avoid the need for undue contact with others every time I visit. All of my questions are answered in a friendly and casual manner by Dr. Efe. He does a great job making me feel comfortable on his watch! I can always depend on his team for answers to my questions. Patients are also extremely well taken care of at the clinic, which makes them feel right at home. Since I am getting the best care (which is always reasonably priced), I wouldn't consider going elsewhere. During a challenging time of my life, Dr. Efe helped me. I highly recommend Dr. Efe and encourage you to try out a concierge medical service. Birmingham Direct Primary Care is the best and I will continue to be a patient.

If you are currently looking for a Civil Surgeon for your I-693 immigration medical exam, I highly recommend contacting this office. I had reached out to several doctor’s offices in the Birmingham area before this, but BHPC was almost the only place that provided a truly sincere and professional response. Most other offices never returned my calls, even after I left messages, and emails often went unanswered. Some places that did answer were quite unfriendly, and I even had experiences where I felt dismissed because of language barriers. Because of those experiences, I didn’t expect much when I left a voicemail here — but I was honestly surprised to receive a call back in less than a day. The receptionist was very kind, explained everything clearly, and helped me schedule my appointment smoothly. Communication through email and text was also reliable and convenient. (Thanks, Angelo!) During my visit, Dr. Efe was incredibly kind and created a calm, comfortable environment throughout the exam. I felt much less nervous than I expected. My results and documents were also ready exactly within the timeframe they had explained. The process was fast and accurate, but what stood out most was that I consistently felt respected throughout the entire experience. I strongly recommend this office to anyone needing immigration-related medical paperwork. I haven’t received other types of care here yet, but I would absolutely return if needed.
